Community Profiles offer a comprehensive overview of your community, including contact details, images, floor plans, and more. The information entered into the community profile is essential for tailoring the experience for your website visitors, ensuring they receive the most relevant and engaging content.
This article will guide you through setting up and managing communities in your dashboard, covering the various sub-tabs and settings available for each community.
Note: Only Corporate and Regional users can manage Community Profiles.
Setting up Community Profiles
To begin, open your Further Dashboard and click Communities in the left navigation.
On the left side, you will see a list of all your communities. Use the search bar to quickly locate a specific community. Click on the desired community to access its profile settings.
Sub Tabs and Settings
Each community has several subtabs. Every subtab has different settings to customize.
We’ll break down each subtab and the general customizations you can make below:
Home
This subtab provides an overview of the community and displays the following information:
Community address, phone number, and URL
Under this section, you will see the contact emails of anyone who has been added to both Contact Info* and User Accounts**.
*Contact info - users listed here will receive leads, messages, and weekly outreach reports and have access to their Further dashboard via all notifications we send.
**User Accounts - users listed here may or may not be on the Contact info page, but can have access to their Further dashboard via a login. Here, you can set up Community user or Regional user access.
The set pricing for your community will be displayed on the right.
Click the Stats button to look at the analytics for your community and Leads to work with your messaging campaigns.
Images
In this subtab, you can view and upload images related to the community for the Virtual Sales Assistant (VSA). This determines what a website user will see when they click View Images. Images are only available in the VSA.
Note: If there are no uploaded images and no fallback URL, then the VSA will not display an option to view images.
The first method is to upload an image by clicking the Upload button and selecting a file from your device. The second is to drag and drop a file into the images window.
If you have a separate webpage you would prefer users visit to see pictures of your community, you can set up a fallback URL. Enter the webpage URL for an image gallery into the Images Fallback URL field to set this up.
Note: Images uploaded will display by default, the fallback URL will only display if there are no uploaded images.
To remove an image, hover over the image and click the trashcan icon in the top right corner, then Update.
Videos
In this subtab, you can view and upload videos related to the community for the VSA. This determines what a website user will see when they click View Videos. Videos are only available in the VSA.
Note: If there are no uploaded videos and no fallback URL, then the VSA will not display an option to view videos.
To upload a video, click Add New in the Videos field.
If you have a separate webpage you would prefer users visit in order to see videos of your community, you can set up a fallback URL. Enter the webpage URL for a video gallery into the Videos Fallback URL field to set this up.
Note: Videos uploaded will display by default, the fallback URL will only display if there are no uploaded videos.
To remove an uploaded video, hover over the video clip and click the trashcan icon in the top right then Save.
Floor Plan
This subtab is to create floor plans for website visitors to peruse directly in the VSA.
If you have a separate webpage you would prefer users visit to see floor plans for your community, you can set up a fallback URL. Enter the webpage URL for a floorplan gallery into the Floor Plan Fallback URL field to set this up then click Save. Floor plans are only available in the VSA.
Note: Floor plans uploaded will display by default, the fallback URL will only display if there are no uploaded floor plans.
To add a new floor plan, click Add New Floor Plan in the top right. The Create new Floor Plan Entry window will open.
Fill out all the basic information for the new floor plan, the more fields you fill out, the more informed a website visitor will be! Scroll down to see all the available fields.
You can even add images to a floor plan by clicking the Floor Plan Image field or dragging and dropping a file into the field.
You can remove images by hovering over them and clicking the X in the top right corner.
When you’re done, click Add to save the floor plan.
You can edit a floor plan at any time by clicking Edit to the right of the floor plan name. Make sure to Save your changes.
To delete a floor plan, click Delete to the right of the floor plan name.
Contact Info
Enter the contact information for the community. Some information may auto-fill based on the community details, so it's important to double-check the accuracy of the information entered.
Testimonials
This subtab allows you to create and manage testimonials related to the community that show in the Conversational Webform (CW).
To add a testimonial, click Create in the top right corner.
The Set Testimonial window will open. Enter the name of the person giving the testimonial and click the stars to record a 1-5 star rating from the reviewer.
If you want the testimonial to show in your CW, toggle the Show on VSA switch to the right.
In the Testimonial box, enter the review.
When you’re done, click Add to save the testimonial.
You can filter your testimonials by Status (if they’re on or not) or sort them by when they were created.
To edit a testimonial, simply click on it to open the edit window and make your changes.
To delete a testimonial, click the X to the right of the testimonial.
Icon
This tab is where you set up the image to be used as the community's icon on emailed lead notifications.
To add an icon, drag and drop the file into the image box. To remove an icon, hover over the image box and click the trashcan icon.
When you’re done, to keep changes, click the Update button in the top right.
Scrape
In this subtab, you can add your community's URL, which will automatically pull in many of the details mentioned above, saving you time and effort.
Enter the URL you want to scrape information from and then click Scrape.
It is important to keep your community profile up to date to ensure your site visitors see accurate information.
