Messaging Assistant can ask prospects about their budget to help qualify them. This saves time for your sales team. You can set rules based on a prospect’s budget to decide what actions Messaging Assistant takes.
For instance, Messaging Assistant may only ask prospects, whose budget covers at least 80% of the cost of a care type, to schedule a tour.
The article explains how to enable budget qualification questions for Messaging Assistant and set thresholds for recommending a scheduling tour or call based on leads' budgets.
Note: Budget Qualification can only be managed by Corporate users.

You can use the search bar in the top right to look for a specific community by name.
Or, you can use the dropdown to filter communities by status.
To set up a community, simply click on the Community Name.
To select multiple communities, click the checklist icon at the top. Use the checkmarks to select the communities you want to edit and click Edit Multiple at the top.
If you want to select all communities, click the Community checkbox at the top and then Edit Multiple.
Note: If you want to include communities on different pages (not just the first 30), you will need to click Select all x communities before Edit Multiple.
The Budget Qualification window will open. This is where you can start to set up thresholds.
If you want to ask the prospect questions about their budget in Messaging Assistant conversations, check the box for Ask qualifying questions via Messaging Assistant.
To customize when a prospect is suggested to schedule a tour or call, check the Set action thresholds at which lead is asked for a tour or call box.
Below are two sliders you can drag and drop to set a percentage threshold. These percentages are based on the budget that the prospect provides. By default, a tour and a call are suggested when a prospect’s budget is at least 60% or more of your community pricing.
For example, if your pricing is $3,000 a month and a prospect gave a budget of $1,800 or more they will be asked to schedule a tour or call. If a prospect provided a budget of $1,500, they will not be asked to schedule a tour or call.
Note: If you always want to prompt leads with scheduling a tour or a call, uncheck the Set action thresholds at which lead is asked for a tour or call box.
When you’re done, click Save to apply your changes.
