Depending on your setup, your Virtual Sales Assistant (VSA) may fully expand on mobile, covering much of your website. Typically, visitors must click the X to close the VSA window.
To make it easier for visitors to continue on your site, we’ve added a function that allows visitors to touch anywhere on the screen outside of the VSA, to minimize it.
Visitors can still click on the minimized VSA to reopen the full menu.
In this article, we’ll go over how to turn this feature on or off.
Note: This feature may only be enabled by Corporate users.
Find Minimization Settings
Select Settings in the left menu.
Click Web Assistant in the Further Products submenu.
.
Once inside the Web Assistant menu, click VSA Minimizing on Mobile.
On the new page, look for the desired community. You can use the search bar at the top to search by community name or the Status filter to find communities with the function on or off.
Click on the desired community.
In the new window, select On if you want the VSA to minimize when a visitor clicks outside of the VSA on the mobile screen. Select Off if you want the VSA to remain open unless a visitor explicitly clicks the X to close it.
When you’re done, click Save and Publish.
