Almost every email notification from Further contains a one-time login link for users. The link will log a user into their Further Dashboard and bring them to the relevant page based on the type of notification they came from. For example, in a Survey Notification Email, there is a one-time login link button labeled View Survey Results. Users who click that button will be logged into their Further Dashboard and brought to the survey results.
The idea behind these links is to provide a quick and easy way for users to locate and act on new information without remembering a password. However, there are some limits to these links and how they work:
- One-Time Use - As the name implies, one-time links are only meant to be used once. Once the link has been clicked, it will only remain active for a short time. After that, the link will no longer work and you will need to log in manually to locate the information again.
- 30-Day Time Limit - The one-time links are only active for 30 days, should they not have been clicked. Once clicked, the one-time use rule above applies.
Note: If you'd like to use an alias address as a recipient for email notifications from Further, which means multiple users will be using the same login link, you will have to reach out to your Customer Success Manager or support@talkfurther.com for implementation.
Once the one-time login link has expired, you will be presented with other login options. If you were not already logged into your Further Dashboard, you will see the screen below where you can request a new login code. Should you have already been logged into your Further Dashboard, you will be taken to the dashboard homepage vs the specific dashboard page from the email notification (conversation, survey, etc).
