Showcase Your Community by Adding Floor Plans to Your Virtual Sales Assistant

  • Updated

Floor plans are one of the most clicked-on options by prospects when engaging with Further Tools. It is highly-suggested to have the floor plans easily accessible.

There are two options for adding floor plans to your Virtual Sales Assistant (VSA). The first option is to add floor plans to your community profile so that they display in your VSA. The second is to redirect a prospect to a specific page on your website where your floor plans are hosted.

In this article, we’ll go over both ways to add floor plans to your VSA.

Note

Display Floor Plans in Your VSA

To add floor plans to your community for use in your VSA, you need to locate the community profile. You can find information on locating community profiles in the article here.

Make sure you select the correct community before moving forward.

Once you have opened the community profile, select the Floor Plan subtab.

To add a new floor plan, click Add new floor plan in the top right. The Create new floor plan entry window will open.

Fill out all the basic information for the new floor plan, the more fields you fill out, the more informed a website visitor will be! Scroll down to see all the available fields.

You can even add images to a floor plan by clicking the Floor plan image field or dragging and dropping a file into the field.

You can remove images by hovering over them and clicking the X in the top right corner.

When you’re done, click Add to save the floor plan.

You can edit a floor plan at any time by clicking Edit to the right of the floor plan name. Make sure to Save your changes.

To delete a floor plan, click Delete to the right of the floor plan name.

If you have a separate webpage you would prefer website visitors to see verse the option above, you can set up a fallback URL. Enter the webpage URL for a floor plan gallery into the Floor plan fallback URL field to set this up then click Save.

Note: Floor plans uploaded will display by default, the Floor plan fallback URL will only display if there are no uploaded floor plans.

Now, you need to find and open the chat you want to add floor plans to. For more information on how to find the correct chat for your community, see the article here

Once you’ve opened the appropriate chat, click the Dialog Flows subtab.

Click the paper icon in the top right of the first module.

Select Add Option under the existing options.

Click the blue heading and enter a name such as View Floor plans. Select the Branch into a separate dialog flow option.

Scroll up and save the changes with the green checkmark at the top of the module.

Click the arrow next to the new option and select Add Module underneath.

Select Options in the Type dropdown and then Floor plans in the Role dropdown. Click the green checkmark to save your changes.

If you want a website visitor to continue with the chat, you should also use the + Add Option button to let them navigate through more of the chat modules.

For example, you may want users to be able to go back to the Pricing module in the flow. Title the button Pricing in the blue header and then click Jump to Module. Use the dropdown to enter the module for pricing and then click the green checkmark at the top to save your changes.

In the example above, you can see the options added to the floor plans section allowing a user to continue with the chat.

To keep your changes, click Save in the top right. In the confirmation window select Save and Publish and Confirm

VSA users will now see an option to view the floor plans you uploaded to the community profile directly in the chat.

Once you’ve opened the appropriate chat, click the Dialog Flows subtab.

To keep your changes, click Save in the top right. In the confirmation window select Save and Publish and Confirm

Now click the Related Communities tab and select the appropriate community in the left menu.
