It is important to present your community in the best way possible to prospects and their families and showcasing your community’s images of everything that they can expect is a great way to do that. Further offers an easy way to integrate an image gallery, right in your Virtual Sales Assistant (VSA). We allow adding options in your VSA which will either show your community’s images right in the chat or take the user directly to your dedicated webpage where your images are displayed.
In this article, we’ll cover adding both options to your VSA.
Note:
Display Community Images in Your VSA
To add or edit images in the community gallery, you need to locate the community profile. You can find information on locating community profiles in the article here.
Make sure you select the correct community before moving forward.
Once you’ve opened the community profile, navigate to the Images subtab. Click Upload in the top right and select the desired images.
You can also drag and drop an image into the file window for a quick upload. Don’t worry about the order you upload the images, you can rearrange them after upload by dragging them in the desired location.
If you have a separate webpage you would prefer users visit in order to see pictures of your community, you can set up a fallback URL. Enter the webpage URL for an image gallery into the Images Fallback URL field to set this up.
Note: Images uploaded will display by default, the fallback URL will only display if there are no uploaded images.
To remove an image, hover over the image and click the trashcan icon in the top right corner.
When you’re done click Save in the top right.
Please note that the community images are used in more places than just the image gallery. The first image in the list is used in two additional places: as a background image in your full page scheduling links (aka GMB links) and as an image in Teaser 5 version of your VSA design.
To learn more about full-page tour scheduling links please see the article here.
To learn more about VSA design options, please see the article here.
Now, you need to find and open the chat you want to add images to. For more information on how to find the correct chat for your community, see the article here.
Once you’ve opened the appropriate chat, click the Dialog Flows subtab.
Click the paper icon in the top right of the first module.
Select Add Option under the existing options.
Click the blue heading and enter a name such as View Community or View Images. Select the Branch into a separate dialog flow option.
Scroll up and save the changes with the green checkmark at the top of the module.
Click the arrow next to the new option and select Add Module underneath.
Select Options in the Type dropdown and then Gallery in the Role dropdown. Click the green checkmark to save your changes.
If you want a website visitor to continue with the chat, you should also use the Add Option button to let them navigate through more of the chat modules. The idea is that if the prospects like what they see, you want to have some options available to them that will allow them to easily gather more information. Some of the most used options are Pricing, Schedule A Tour and End Conversation.
For example, you may want users to be able to go back to the Pricing module in the flow. Title the button Pricing in the blue header and then click Jump to Module. Use the dropdown to enter the module for Pricing and then click the green checkmark at the top to save your changes.
In the example below, you can see the options added to an image gallery allowing a user to continue with the chat.
To keep your changes, click Save in the top right. In the confirmation window select Save and Publish and Confirm.
VSA users will now see an option to view the images you uploaded to the community profile directly in the chat.
