To improve end-user experience and eliminate confusion, Further has implemented a new feature with its Virtual Sales Assistant (VSA). Now, the VSA will only display options supported by the data available in your community profile. This means if your community hasn't uploaded images, the "View Gallery" option won't appear in your VSA, ensuring a cleaner and more accurate experience for users.
This feature ensures a consistent and seamless chat experience across different communities, regardless of the specific information they have. With options like floor plans, videos, galleries (images), Instant Answers (IA), and more, your VSA will only display what's relevant, enhancing user interaction and satisfaction.
How does it work? It’s simple! If the required information for a button is missing, that button won’t show up in your VSA. This intelligent design ensures that users only see relevant options, making interactions more meaningful and efficient.
In this article, we'll guide you through how to add or edit the necessary information to ensure these features appear in your VSA, helping you make the most of this smart new capability.
Note: Only X user will be able to edit VSA information.
Locate Chat
First, you need to locate the chat for the community that is missing options. For more information on locating chats, see our article here.
Once you’ve selected the appropriate chat, click the Dialog Flows tab.
Troubleshoot Missing Options
Expand the button that doesn’t display on your website and then hit the pencil icon for the module.
If the Type is a Link then the problem is a URL was never added. See the Add URL to Button section of the article here to solve this problem.
If the Type is Options then the individual community never had the information for the option uploaded. For example, if a community has no floor plans uploaded in the Further Dashboard then the floor plans option will not display on the VSA for that community’s website.
If you'd like to just upload the needed information, see the Community Profile article. If you would like to add these options manually to your Further tools, then see the articles on your community profile in the section here.
This article covers how to add relevant information for the following options: gallery, videos, floor plans, and careers. If the flow that is missing from your VSA is Instant Answers then make sure that that feature is activated for your community. For more information on this topic, please check this article here.
