How to Locate Further Tools Associated with Your Community

  • Updated

Whenever you want to make some changes to the look and feel or a functionality of your Further tools, first you have to locate the correct tool, or as Further refers to them - chats. Communities can have one or more chats of any type attached to them. Further offers four different types of chats:

  • Conversational Web Form (CW)
  • Conversational Web Form (Survey)  - Post and pre-tour survey tools.
  • Pop-Up Chat - The Virtual Sales Assistant (VSA) tool.
  • Phone

Conversational Web Forms can be placed anywhere on your site and they allow Further to seamlessly incorporate with your website.

Conversational Web Form (Survey) is not visible on your site and is a tool that works with leads who schedule a tour to act as a tour reminder and post-tour survey tool.

Pop-Up Chat or VSA is Further’s pop-up chat.

Phone Chat is a tool that will automatically track phone calls to your website and web properties.

It’s important when working with chats to make sure that a chat you want to change is connected to the correct community and that you have selected the correct chat type.

In this article, we’ll go over how to locate chats associated with your community.

Note

Locating Chats

Select Web Assistant in the left navigation menu.

Use the Search Bar in the top right. Type the community name and hit Enter to view all the matching chats.

All Chats associated with the community will populate on the screen.

Note: Remember, some chats are associated with more than one community so you may not always see the community name listed. Any changes made to a chat will affect all of the communities associated with a chat.

Filter by Chat Type

When there are multiple matching Chats, you can further narrow the results based on chat type to ensure you update the correct tool.

Click the Any type dropdown in the top left to narrow the results by the desired chat type.

You can also identify the Chat tool by the left icon and the chat tag.

Click on the desired chat in order to view its details and make edits.
