Stats reports are a great way for you to share information on your communities. Any data you can view in the Stats feature of Further can be sent as a report.
There are two different types of reports you can send; a Static PDF Report or a Dynamic URL Report.
Dynamic reports allow recipients to interact with the data by filtering by dates and possibly traffic sources of the data.
PDF reports cannot be edited or filtered by the recipient. You can send a PDF using our built-in share feature or by saving the report and then attaching the PDF to a message.
In this article, we’ll go over all the ways to send reports.
Note: Corporate and Regional articles can share reports.
Save a Report
To save a report, first click Stats in the left navigation and select the report you want to work on. Each of the tabs represents a different report you can run, a way to view and filter data.
For more information on the filter options, see the article here.
Note: Only filters regarding the community/group will be saved. The date and traffic sources can be edited later and will not be saved.
When you’re ready, click Save Report in the top right.
The button will turn into a title field. Enter a name for the report and then click the checkmark icon to save the report.
View Saved Reports
To view saved reports, click Stats in the left navigation. Select the Saved Reports tab. A list of all saved reports will appear in the tab.
To view an individual report, click Open in the Show Report column.
To share a report right-click on Open, click Copy Link, and share the link with whomever you would like to view the report.
Send a Dynamic Report
A dynamic report allows the recipient to interact with an analytics report. A recipient with access to the Further dashboard can filter reports by dates as well as by traffic sources. A recipient outside of your organization will be able to filter reports by dates.
For more information on the filter options, see the article here.
Note: In order to send a dynamic report, you must first have created a saved report with the desired community/community group filters.
To send a dynamic report, click Stats in the left navigation. Select the Saved Reports tab. A list of all saved reports will appear in the tab.
Find the report you want to send and click Open in the Show Report column.
The report will open. Copy the URL from the top of your browser.
Send the URL to anyone you want to be able to view the report.
Send a PDF Report
To generate a PDF report, click Stats in the left navigation. It does not matter what tab you select, simply choose any filters you want applied to the PDF report.
For more information on the filter options, see the article here.
When you’re ready, click Send as PDF in the top right.
The Send as PDF window will open. Enter your email address in the Send Report To field.
Use the checkboxes to determine what tabs you want to include data from. When you’re done click Send.
You’ll receive a Chat Analytics Report email with the PDF attached.
Click the attachment to view the report.
Note: You will not be able to filter or change a PDF report once it is sent. If you want someone to be able to change report dates or traffic sources, you should instead use a dynamic report.
Delete Reports
Note: Use caution, deleting a report cannot be undone.
To remove a report, click Stats in the left navigation. Select the Saved Reports tab.
Click the trashcan icon in the Delete column to remove the report.
