Understanding and Managing Instant Answers

Instant Answers is a feature of our Virtual Sales Assistant (VSA) which helps prospects get the exact information they seek, instantly. The tool answers most questions prospects might have about a community, regardless of how the question was asked. By answering prospect questions on the website, Further is able to remove barriers to conversations and schedule more tours and calls for your communities.

Activating Instant Answers

If you would like to get a demo of Instant Answers or move forward with activating Instant Answers, please contact your Further Customer Success Manager or email us at support@talkfurther.com.  In order to activate, our team will email each of your communities a survey to complete, from which we will curate the responses to your prospect questions.  Once all surveys have been returned, this feature will be activated in your VSA. 

 

Managing Your Instant Answers Responses

You can view, edit, delete, and export Instant Answers at any time. This is helpful if your community has changed care types or policies and you want to make sure prospects get the most accurate and current information. 

Both Corporate and Regional users are able to manage Instant Answers once it is live, but caution should be used as modifying the answers too much may affect the tool's ability to answer questions accurately.

Reviewing Instant Answers Responses

Click Settings in the left navigation. In the new submenu, click Instant Answers

 

Use the search bar to find the community you wish to edit and then click the community name. 

 

On the left you’ll see a list of categories, click the appropriate one to see the responses set up.

Note: Be careful modifying questions. You should always test asking a question on your website after you make a change to ensure the user experience makes sense.

To edit the community-provided answer, simply click in the field and enter the new or updated reply. 

You can also reorder items by dragging and dropping. To reorder sections, click the grid icon and drag and drop the section. 

To reorder fields inside a section, click the </> icon and drag and drop the field. 

 

 

When you’re done, click Save in the top right to apply your changes.

 

Deleting Instant Answers

You can delete specific items that are part of the response but do not delete an entire response or question, as that could result in a bad user experience for your prospects.  For instance, if you no longer offer Activity programs as part of your Activities you can delete that item from the list.  But do not delete Activities altogether. 

To delete, hover over the listed item to reveal the trashcan icon and click on it.

Click Save.

 

Exporting Instant Answers

You can easily export all of your replies by clicking Export IA in the top right corner.

A CSV file will immediately download to your device with a list of all the answers sorted by categories. This includes both the Further curated response and the items the community provided via their survey.
