If you have an extended job applicant workflow set up, you have the flexibility to choose which email addresses receive notifications for new job applicants. The process involves two simple steps: finding the community you want to set up email notifications and managing the email addresses.
In this article, we'll go over everything you need to know to manage your job applicant distribution list.
Note: Only Corporate users can manage the job application distribution list.
Find the Community
First, click on Settings in the left navigation. Select Job Applicant Emails in the Contacts submenu.
By default, you will see a list of all your communities. To quickly find a specific community, you can use the search bar.
To identify communities where no one is receiving job applicant notifications, toggle the switch labeled Show only without emails to the right. This will filter the list and highlight communities where no one is receiving alerts about new applicants.
Once you’ve found the communities, it’s time to add or manage the email addresses associated with them.
Set Up Emails
In the Emails column, click the Add New field. Enter the email address you want to receive alerts.
Press the Enter key to add the email address.
If you need to add multiple email addresses, simply type in another address in the Add New field.
If you accidentally added an email address, click the X next to the email to remove it.
Once you have added or managed the email addresses for the desired communities, click Save in the top right corner to keep your changes.
Once a job applicant completes the careers flow, if the email recipient has been set, you will receive an email notification from notifications@talkfurther.com titled Job Applicant <month>.
Note: Contact your Customer Success Manager or Further Support if you would like to customize the subject line of your notification emails!
If your job applicant email recipient is not set, you can still review the applications in the Further Dashboard but no alerts will be sent out.
