Adding discounts to your Virtual Sales Assistant (VSA) or Conversational Webform (CW) can be a great way to boost prospect engagement. It's easy to set up and customize discounts to attract prospects and highlight special offers. For example, you may offer a discount for annual pricing.

In this article, we'll go over how to set up discounts for your communities.
Note: Community and Regional users can view discounts, but only Corporate users can make changes to discounts. This is because discounts must be published to your site and only Corporate users have that ability.
Set Up Discounts
Click Settings in the blue left navigation and then select Discounts in the submenu of General.
Use the search bar at the top to find the correct communities or scroll through the options.
There are two columns of information to fill out for discounts:
- Discount - This is the total rate after the discount is applied. For example, if the standing rate is $2,000 and they want to offer a discount of $500, they would place $1,500 in the discount column.
- Annual Text - This is where you can put a notice explaining the discount, such as “Save $500 annually!”
Note: You must fill in both the Discount field and the Annual Text field in order to add or update a discount. However, the Annual Text will only display for VSA as CW does not use that field.
When you’re done, click Save in the top right.
After saving, click Web Assistant in the left navigation.
Click on the flow where the community with the discount is assigned to open the Chat Editor. For more information about locating a flow, see the article here.
In the top right of the flow, select Publish Changes.
