Update Pricing for Existing Pricing Categories

  • Updated

Pricing categories allow website visitors to get prompt and accurate information on your pricing when interacting with the Conversational Webform (CW) and Virtual Sales Assistant (VSA).

If you need to create or delete a pricing category for a community, please submit a ticket to our Support team with the category you need to be added/deleted or see the article here

In this article, we will go over everything you need to know to update pricing for pricing categories.

Note: All users can update pricing for communities in the Further Dashboard

Find Community Pricing

Click Settings in the left navigation menu.  Select Pricing in the General submenu.

This opens the Pricing Options page. Once there, you can use the search bar at the top to find pricing for a specific community. Enter the community name, and all price options related to that community will show below.

Export Pricing

If you would like a CSV copy of your pricing, click Export and a file of your locations and category pricing will download to your device. This is useful to create a backup of your pricing.

Import Pricing

To import pricing, we recommend you first Export your community pricing options. Use the export file as a template to ensure your columns and fields will match. Make your edits to the file and then click Import in the top right.

Update Pricing

You can update the pricing for any of the existing categories by clicking and entering the correct amount.

Note: If you have several categories, they may not all display on the screen. With more than 5 categories, you will see arrows and numbers under the search bar that will help you flip through all of the categories.

When you are done, click Save in the top right to keep your changes.

The Publish your changes window will open. To apply your changes to all of the affected flows, click Save and Publish and then Confirm

Note: If you click Save Without Publishing the changes will not be visible on the VSA or CW.

A Chat Validation window will open to verify all the chats that will be updated. When you’re done, click Publish to make your changes live.

Note: To see additional details about the chats, click the arrow next to their names.

Bulk Update Pricing

If you want to make bulk changes to your pricing, first export the pricing to Excel. Make all the adjustments to the pricing using the downloaded Excel sheet and save your changes.

Now click Import

Drag and drop the updated Excel file or click Select CSV File and find the appropriate file. When you're done, click Import in the bottom right.

The changes you made to your community pricing file will now be updated in Further!
